To unite luxury and awareness of environmental responsibility, ISAGO launched a jewelry collection that was introduced to the public on March 25, 2024. Through the soft launching with the theme “Unveiling Conscious Luxury” ISAGO wants to convey its commitment to caring for the environment and invite its consumers to contribute to realizing #ConsciousLuxury but of course still fashionable through ISAGO’s latest jewelry collection at Premiere Lounge, Central Department Store.
The event was attended by ISAGO’s founders, including Valencia Tanoesoedibjo, Jenifer Patricia, Hendra Zhou, Jeanice Lie, and Natalia Ie. Through discussion sessions with the media as well as talk shows with expert speakers & fashion influencers, ISAGO discusses its vision of enhancing individual self-expression while maintaining a mindful approach to environmental awareness through its jewelry collection made from 14K recycled gold and Lab-Grown Diamonds.
Unlike other jewelry collections on the market, ISAGO products are made from 14K recycled gold and Lab-Grown Diamonds, accredited by the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC). ISAGO’s jewelry collection uses full 14K recycled gold that has been tested to be rust-free or non-oxidizable. The use of Lab-Grown Diamonds does not diminish their value and beauty, as ISAGO believes Lab-Grown Diamonds are more environmentally friendly when viewed through their production that does not pass through the mining process.
Isago has also partnered with Bumiterra, a forest restoration service provider organization that focuses on community and nature-based carbon removal and ecosystem regeneration solutions by reforesting degraded land in Borneo, West Kalimantan. Isago has empowered one of the lands there, Rumbih Village. After detailed calculations, Bumiterra also found that ISAGO reduces land conversion-deforestation-biodiversity loss activities by 1281 times, and requires only half the energy use (per carat production) of the jewelry produced.
