As a brand that honors individuality and self-expression above all else, MAC Cosmetics believe that everyone – regardless of gender – should be free to use makeup to tap into their authentic identities. MAC Cosmetics stores have long been welcoming spaces for customers and Artists of all gender identities to feel safe and valued. Striving to make cosmetics products approachable and accessible to everyone across the gender spectrum by representing and celebrating gender in all its forms in our campaigns – from teaming up with RuPaul to kick off the inaugural VIVA GLAM campaign in 1994 to subsequent collaborations in recent years with transgender fashion models Lea T, Dara Allen and drag queen Aquaria. Most recently, MAC Cosmetics partnered with Harris Reed, a non-binary up-and-coming designer out of London, for a collection celebrating the beauty of gender fluidity.
