CENTRAL ANNIVERSARY FLOWER EXTRAVAGANZA 2019

Central Department Store Indonesia beautify its store with the
biggest fresh decorative flower displays along with the best promotions
starting on 26 – 30 September 2019

 

Jakarta, 26 September 2019 – The fifth anniversary celebration of Central Department Store in Indonesia is being marked with a show entitled “Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza” in its store in Grand Indonesia, which will run from 26–30 September. The biggest fresh-flower decoration that has ever existed inside a department store will be presented with the theme “Floral Fantasy” over an area of 800 square meters. Every year, Central collaborates with famous designers in Indonesia, and this year it will collaborate with Biyan Wanaatmadja who has been renowned for more than 36 years in the world of Indonesian fashion. Biyan will collaborate with Central through the Studio 133 – Biyan label, which will form the opening of the Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza with a presentation of exclusive collections from Studio 133 – Biyan. The whole exclusive collection will be available in Central Department Store during anniversary period. The performance of young Indonesian star Marion Jola – the finalist of Indonesian Idol season 9 – will also add the excitement of the opening of the Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza. 

 

A variety of the best shopping discounts and promotions from Central for its loyal customers will also be available in a series of events in the Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza. Special shopping discounts for five days will kick off the extravaganza from 26–30 September 2019 and will be continued with other promotions that will be ongoing until 20 October 2019 at Central Department Store in Grand Indonesia. 

 

Floral Fantasy presents a harmony of fresh decorative flowers elements on each floor

 

Central Flower Extravaganza  is a major event for Central Department Store. With this year’s Floral Fantasy theme, each floor presents fresh decorative flowers complete with other elements to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the store in Indonesia.

 

For this year, Ground Floor as the main flower installations will present the ‘Floral Gazebo’ covered with fresh flowers that is dominated with colorful flowers of red, orange, pink, fuchsia. Upper Ground Floor with ‘The Swings In The Garden’ theme will take your breath away with the beauty of yellow flowers that fill the entire floor. On the men’s area in the 1st floor, we translate Floral Fantasy theme with ‘Magical Doors’ that are fully embellished with flowers in different colors that hopefully can take our customers’ imagination being in a wonderland. On the 2nd floor, Kids area will be decorated with fun theme that is inspired by the story of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ where you can find small hut and fresh flowers dominated with red colors. As for the home area, the decoration mixes the traditional elements of rattan and the beauty of pastel colors floral ornaments. Bangkok Bank also participates in showcasing fresh flower displays at the Central Department Store Grand Indonesia on Upper Ground and the 1st floor.

 

Central Flower Extravaganza 2019 marks the fifth anniversary of Central Department Store in Indonesia

 

Central Department Store also celebrates its fifth anniversary by holding an event entitled the “Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza” on 26 September. This year, the store collaborates with senior fashion designer Biyan through his label Studio 133 – Biyan to present 12-piece fashion collections that have a special offer during Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza 2019 period in Central Department Store Grand Indonesia.

 

Studio 133 – Biyan is presenting its exclusive collections in colors that are nuanced with the feeling of the changing of seasons, such as powder blue, daffodil yellow, primrose pink, bright white, and jet blackThe silhouettes of the outfits intersecting with the A – Line and H – Line are enriched with aesthetic details through the choices of materials such as textured jacquard, embroidered tulle, and gold-coated lace, as well as decorated with pearls and beads that beautify the collection even more.  

 

This year, Central Department Store will also present digital visual entertainment courtesy of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). This entertainment will showcase the beauty of tourist destinations in various places in Thailand. Highlights include—The cherry blossom trees in Northern Thailand, historic city of Ayutthaya, Phuket beach and Wat Prathat Doi Suthep Temple in Chiang Mai. The event will also enliven with the performance of the talented young singer Marion Jola at the event.

Today, Central also announced the extension of its longstanding and successful partnership with one of its strategic partners, Mastercard Indonesia. In conjunction with the announcement, Central and Mastercard present special offers for better shopping experiences for their customers. The collaboration is marked by Mastercard’s participation in the Central 5th Anniversary Flower Extravaganza promotion, which will last from 26 September until 20 October 2019 and will be followed by other promotions.
