Last Saturday (31/01) marked the new fashion journey for Indonesia'a fashion industry, as eight prominent Indonesian designers showcased their latest Spring/Summer '15 collections on "Central Designers Soiree 2015". A private fashion event held by Central Department Store Indonesia and supported by Artotel, Jimmy Choo fragrance and Kanebo.

This event featured latest collections from:Austere by Tri Handoko, Danjyo Hiyoji, Ivan Gunawan, Iwan Tirta Private Collection, Jeffry Tan, Lotuz by Yosep Sinudarsono, Stellarissa and Yosafat Dwi Kurniawan.

 

Clean cut mixed with androgyny style becomes the signature look of Austere, a unisex label launched in 2014 by Tri Handoko. 

 

 

Exclusive for Central Designers Soiree, Danjyo Hiyoji presented its latest men's collection called "The Continuum". Dominated by black and white tones, each collection has modern cutting with intricate details.

 

The notable designer presented "Kedjora".  Latest collections inspired by his restless mind that led to a rich fashion masterpiece embellished by lace and tulle.

 

Designed by Era Soekamto, the latest collection presented in this event was "Hasta Brata". Often interpreted as eight corner diamond, the symbol is one of the greatest in philosophy containing eight majestic natural elements.

 

Highlighting "Normcore" on his latest design, Jeffry Tan applied structured design in earthy color tones on basic fashion items such as shirt, skinny pants and pleated skirt.

 

"Le Vie" means "The Life" become the main theme for Yosep Sinudarsono latest collections. Dominated by red, nude and cream colors, the collections add details such beading dan embroidery as its signature.

 

Stellar woman by Stellarissa projecting a strong female figure with character and confidence that reflects on women nowadays without overlooking a feminine silhouette through its presentation.

 

For Spring/Summer 2015 collections, Yosafat was inspired heavily by 50's and 60's style. The collections sealed its vintage vibe in a modern design.  

Attended by Jakarta's beautiful crowd of socialites, celebrities, fashion bloggers and lifestyle media, this event was an attempt from Central to continuously support local designers and their creativity, where all the latest collections is available at Central Grand Indonesia.
